Win one of five popular IsiZulu-English bilingual school dictionaries
Oxford University Press Southern Africa recently announced the release of a revised edition of their popular isiZulu-English dictionary. Hola MaHigh School would like to give five lucky readers the chance to win a copy of the Oxford Bilingual School Dictionary: isiZulu and English 2nd Edition. The updated edition now includes 13 pages of everyday conversations and useful phrases to help students at school and at university – and everyone else speaking isiZulu in real-life situations.
The new edition is unique in offering this comprehensive guide to everyday conversations, helping learners to see how to use the languages in real life, and empowering them to interact with one another. Much more than a phrasebook, the dictionary shows what answer you might get to your question, and enables you to reply. Covering a range of useful topics, the 280 mini-conversations range from ‘Meeting people’ and ‘At school or university’ to ‘Spending time with friends’ and ‘Staying safe’.
How to be a part of the competition: Email your name, school, grade, cell number and physical address (no PO Box) to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dead line is: 31 October 2015
The lucky winners will be contacted directly by Oxford University Press and the prize will be couriered to you.
The dictionary is available at leading book retailers at a recommended selling price of R129.95. For more information, please visit www.oxford.co.za.
